oreo pictures

so as a promise, i'll post my step-by-step guide on how i made my oreo cake:)

here is the mixture of chocolate cake. I grease the pan with some butter, covered with flour, so the cake won't stick to the pan. look how dark and rich this cake!
and the special ingredients of this cake. OREO!:)
the cream filling! white and airy.

let's get these oreos crushed!
yey! cake's done! time to cool cool cool!
cutting the cake into 4 equal parts. I should have used serrated knife instead of this knife because of the cake crumbs, it's easily to handle.
anddddd taaaadaaaaa!:) done with the cake!:)

thank you so much, guys!:)

oreo cake

Hoooraaay to my long weeeeeekkkkkeeeend!! I don’t have any finals for next week, well (except WednesdayL last push! Then fast forward to my graduation! :) It’s time to update my blog! I

know, I know, I’ve been MIA these couple of weeks? Months? Stay with me guys? I’m really busy with all these crazy school stuff plus OJT. I always find time to update my blog so now; it’s timeJ

ohkaaay, so this post is basically about OREO! :)
Everyone’s getting crazy over OREO. Whenever I go, I always see Oreo cupcake, Oreo

Cheesecake, Oreo Cupcake, Oreo Milk Shake, Oreo Milk tea, GAAAAAHHHHH OREO DOMINATION IT IS! Since i have lots of Oreos at home I thought of making *OREO CAKE*

Yes, my 4 tiered black chocolate Oreo cake with Oreo cream filling and topped with Oreo cookies ;)

*I would put the step-by-step pictures of how I did my Oreo cake, but apparently, my sister brought it to school today, yes She have school on Sunday!;/. I promise to post it when she gets

home. So wait for it okay? ;) *
So for now, here’s the picture of my cake.

this cake is Oil base, because I notice that when you use oil in baking cake, it has more moisture and more dense. *It's my own personal opinion* this chocolate cake is very rich and dark, not

overpowering the bitterness of cocoa in Oreo Cream Filling. also, it balances out the flavors of each elements.

it's a sink in to your teeth feeling. plus you won't get tired of eating this cake because the flavors are very light and mild.

I was so happy when my family ate this cake, they loved it and thought that I bought it outside. hey, for a home baker, that's an achievement!

revel bars and paper cakes

some of you guys doesn't know revel bars, me either, I just recently found out what they are. They are oatmeal base and topped with chocolates (can be a flavor of your choice) and top again with

oatmeal mixture. (compose of flour, sugar, oatmeal, butter and eggs) mostly, the chocolate filling are pressed in between of the oatmeal mixture. well, personally, i'd like to use chocolates. It's

very gooey, fudge y and melt in your mouth feel. I was exposed to this bar, because in our cafeteria at CSB-AKIC chef's station, my friends always bake this and sell for 25 pesos per slice.

I really liked the taste and crave for more every time I go there (controlling myself not to eat more, hello fats!) so I said to myself that I had to make these bars! pooof! taaaadaaaaa... my own version of revel bars!:)

instead of sandwiching the chocolates to oatmeal mixture, i just decided to make a crumbs out of it, I don't know, just like it better that way. so here!:) i hope you crave!:)
also selling this for a box of 5. only for 150 pesos!:) big slices and super chocolateeeeyyyyy:)
grab em' now!:)
here's for packaging!:)

moving on..... let's go to the other dessert. I just invent the name paper cake, well originally it's a crepe cake. layered crepe filled with pastry cream (traditional way) but I made my own version,

For the filling, I used chocolate whipped ganache, and for the coatings, I used white chocolate ganache and dust with cocoa powder. the reason that i didn't used pastry cream (pastry cream is

the one usually use for the fillings of cream puffs and eclairs.) because i'm scared that it gets rotten, because it's made out of milk and eggs. since i'm also selling this one, i must find a good substitute to it.

7 layered crepe :) topped with candy sprinklers.
see that layers?;)
packed!

so here's for tonight!:) gotta sleep coz i still have OJT tomorrow at 6!:) thanks guys for supporting me all the way!:) please, don't get tired of me? thanks!!

break

finally!!!!! hello, long break!!! it's been a while since my last post!I miss blogging! And now, I have time to re-birth my blog again! hihihi!:) uhm, waddup? where should

i begin? so many things running in my mind right now and I don't know what to share first.

Oh! I know! My first ever function! Debut party Masquerade theme. The staff who works in my school, approach me and said, I saw your card, and I’m interested in your products. She asked me if I do bulk orders, and I instantly said YES! I do

bulk orders for parties and any events. She said that her cousin will be turning 18 and she wants to order 100 pcs of assorted cupcakes. I got a really HUGE smile in my

face! I said thank you so much Ms. Michelle for trusting me! I promise to make that night a special one. So the party happened last October 26, 2012 at Aquasphere

Malate. Good thing it was holiday so I got the whole morning to prepare. The motif was pink and violet so I decided to change the icing for my hazelnut cupcake and cookie

dough cupcake to Marshmallow frosting and tint it with pink and violet.
Ms. Michelle asked me to bring 18 candles and I don’t have it. I was like, oh my! I

have to buy candles, but where? I asked my nanny to go to supermarket but sadly, they don’t sell candles. I was really panicking and said that, I have to have it. She will only

turn 18 once and I don’t want to ruin it. I want that night to be perfect for the debutant, so my mom and I left immediately after I bake to look for the candles. We went to espana (i forgot the shop) and luckily, they sell candles so hooray!! Everything

turns great according to my plan! :)
So I arrived at the place around 4 in the afternoon to set up the center piece. The mother

of the debutant really liked the cupcakes, it was funny because when she’s helping me arranged the cupcakes, her fingers had a bit of icing and she secretly lick the icing, and said *and sarap ah* and I felt really happy and flattered.

Thank you God! Wouldn’t do this without you!!! Thank you also, Ms. Michelle and all her family members for supporting me. Thanks for the flattering texts/comments.
Really happy you loved the cupcakes!!:) till next time!

photos!:)
just preparing and practicing the piece at home:)

really tied up! Got no sleep, eye bags all the wayL but horay for today! :) rest day for me.

So, what to blog?? Ah! I’ve made several sweets a couple of months/weeks ago, so I think I should just blog it all up here in the same page.

so, recently I've been so desperate to make chocolate shapes. I was browsing the net and saw many chocolate art! I said to myself that I gotta do this! It's

a great gift and surprise for everyone. and, it's unique! so tadaaa, my chocolate house. yes, uneven roof! still working on it. was not able to put flowers on the side, ran out of chocolates:( I read an article that there was a

man who made a chocolate house, and inside it, there's a ring for a girl!:) a unique proposal way. it really touched my heart I was like awwww ang sweet! i'm pretty sure if i do this again, it's way way way way better!:)

next one, my chocolate pig, sun flowers, x-mas trees, connecting flowers and butterfly.
planning to sell this. should I? I was thinking of mint, almond, strawberry and orange flavor.
tell me what you guys think. I need your advice:)
yes, I made 5 different frosting on 1 cupcake:) marshmallow icing, royal icing, butter cream icing, whipped ganache, and french butter cream:)
I really like pastel colors! it's so appealing and very calm to the eyes:)
 so here ya go!:)
bye for now:) got tons of school work to do:((

fondant and gum paste

Don’t get frustrated and think that you can’t do things because it looks so complicated nor think that you don’t have talents for this kind of thing. Hey, you can PRACTICE! Practice makes perfect! I, myself don’t have any talents (literally) when it comes to drawing, crafting

and moulding. Imagine, since when I was a little girl, I can ONLY draw power puff girls without getting these girls a distorted face! J I sorta professionalize it! J Even at the present, I can’t draw properly. Sometimes, it gets distorted, uneven size, chubby and ugly.

I get jealous every time I see a doodle on my friends’ papers and I try to do it, but I really can’t. So I end up drawing a man stick! :)

Okay, enough about the drawings! What I really want to share with you guys is about fondant and gum paste. I know some of you guys are only familiar with fondant. But basically, these 2 are like cousins! One can’t stand alone. Why is this so? Okay, Fondant is
a dough-like glue very flexible. It can be rolled out and used to cover cakes, and cupcakes. The basic element for fondant is confectioners’ sugar with the addition of

gelatine, corn syrup and glycerine to give a flexible sugary paste.
Fondant gives the cake a good-looking porcelain look surface that can be tinted, piped, and carved.
While gum paste used mainly for hand modelling figures and can be rolled very slim for

petal flowers, leaves and very meticulous decorations. It is related in consistency to fondant but it dries very solid, gum paste is an edible creation and taste very bland.
For me, I like fondant more because it’s very kind and won’t give you a hard time to knead.

Plus, it’s more delicious than gum paste. I don’t recommend you to eat it! Because it is PURE sugar!
Moving on... yesterday, I was in the mood to play with this fondant and gum paste. Just like when we were kids? We used to play clay dough. Remember? So I got really excited

and reminisce a little. *gosh! I felt really oldL *
I decided to make a 3D SpongeBob, Christmas tree, minions, flowers, and a boy + girl.
It was really exhausting, for the reason that you have to keep on kneading and cover it so

that it won’t become firm. Plus, my fingers were like a rainbow. Haha! I kept on washing my hands to prevent mixing of other colors in my fondant. So here!

coz I miss boyfie;( *chocolate cupcake*
huge fan of minions! half bodied. hahaha
my oh so fake and gulat sponge bob. *vanilla cupcake*

was not able to finish this!:( i was planning to fill this cupcake
with flowers so it'll look like a bouquet!

super advance Merry Christmas guys!:)

happy shalalalalallaa:))

black and white bricks cake

It’s a 7 layered brickssssssssssssss cake! Yes, B-R-I-C-K-S, bricks! I was so happy to finally make this cake! Couldn’t actually believe it myself. I made a white sponge, black sponge a

butter cream and a chocolate sauce.
It was my cousin’s 17th birthday so I decided to make something unique and exceptional

cake. Not just a chocolate cake with some piping’s on top, I want to go simple but shocking when you dig deeper. A 7

layered vanilla and chocolate cake, and topped with chocolate stone and a letter D (for my cousin’s initial.) using white chocolate chips.

Thanks, to my sister for helping me out in cutting, cleaning and decorating. (My secretary!) J Coz’ my yaya went out so I got no one but her.

I just got some difficulties in making butter cream, so you see I tried this butter cream recipe which calls for egg white-sugar syrup-butter. I made sugar syrup first, and then

pour it in my soft peak egg whites,
to cook it, but apparently, it didn’t work. It breaks. My sugar-syrup was too little plus, it

almost gets burned. I don’t know what happened, just a glimpse away, then poof! BURN! You see, when making

icing using egg whites, you have to cook it with sugar syrup, not cook as in, like the sunny side up nor scramble egg thingy, but to temper the egg whites, just to be sure

there’s no salmonella bacteria in it.
So, in the end, I just made a classic and traditional butter cream which use butter-icing

sugar-milk- and vanilla essence.
A soft and fluffy cake. It’s not that super moist, because the icing and the chocolate sauce

will do the work. It’s not good to eat a cake that'll stick in your teeth.
Here’s a little teaser ;)

colorful isn't it? I was actually gonna make a harry potter face and wands and stuff using my homemade candies click :) but sadly, I ran out of time, so to make it look appealing, I just used rainbow colored candy chocolates. ;)

improvised box made by *angeli syiaco
coz my box doesn't fit the size of  this cake, it's too low for a 7 layered cake, so what she did was to cut
a bit border of the other box, and just stapled it to the other. how cool was that! creative:)

so here! i'll post tomorrow the other pictures!:)

successful mocha

yehey! i finally did it! my home made candies!:) after tons of practice! whew! definitely worth the

stress! here it is!:)

can you notice the 4 circles thingy? i hope so!:)

oh well, it's mockingjay ;) logo in hunger games,

movie.

and the other 3 below - emoticon :)

weeeeee that's 100% EDIBLE!

*that's the one you eat in GOLDILOCKS cakes,

the flower candy thingy. ;)

closer look - mockingjay (i know, it's not perfect. but, i'm getting there! SOON!:)

aaAAHHHH

PAAAAASSSSSTEEEEEEL!!!!:)))

baby colors all the way!:)

i love looking at these icing! so relaxing

and can make you calm!:)

and for the cupcake

mocha cupcake with caramel filling and coffee icing. for more info,  click here <3

the cupcake is so light! if you are a coffee lover, then this one's for you!! I'm not saying that if you

don't like coffee, you can't eat this, hey, you can always control the coffee flavor. that's why I

LOVE making my own sweets! you get to control EVERYTHING! from the products you use,

sweetness level, flavors and all!

It took 10 hours for these candies to dry. depends on the thickness and
sizes.

I put a caramel filling inside, just to make a twist in its taste. and, to give a little extra excitement to

the people whose going to eat my cupcakes:) a surprise in short! plus, to have a popping and

dancing flavor inside your mouth!:) a cake plus a slightly thick sauce will really make an impact to

it's texture when eating. and, what's a cupcake without icing? put them all together, and what will

you get? a super moist, liquidy mouth-feel, and a light and airy frosting.

whew! what a day!:) that's it for now, going to make a cake tomorrow!:) excited!
